Top Tips for New and Returning Visitors

  • Come early or come late, as the Angaston Country Markets can get very busy.
  • Plan your day by making a list of stallholders you’d like to visit. We will keep you updated on Facebook.
  • Angaston is a beautiful, historic town to visit with many unique shops you won’t find elsewhere, so take a stroll down the main street.

Finding your way to the markets

The Angaston Country Markets are held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at the Angaston Town Hall, 8 Washington Street, Angaston, South Australia.

Market Dates

Market dates for 2024 are as follows:

    Sunday, 21 April 2024 – 10.00am to 3.00pm
  • Sunday, 19 May 2024 – 10.00am to 3.00pm
    Sunday, 16 June 2024 – 10.00am to 3.00pm
  • Sunday, 21 July 2024 – 10.00am to 3.00pm
  • Sunday, 18 August 2024 – 10.00am to 3.00pm
  • Sunday, 15 September 2024 – 10.00am to 3.00pm
  • Sunday, 20 October 2024 – 10.00am to 3.00pm
  • Sunday, 17 November 2024 – 10.00am to 3.00pm
  • Sunday, 15 December 2024 – to be confirmed.


Entry to the market is free. 

Car parking

There is plenty of free parking around the streets of Angaston.


Most areas of the Angaston Town Hall have wheelchair access.

The Angaston Country Markets info desk is located in front entrance of the Angaston Town Hall. Our friendly volunteers are very happy to answer any questions and locations of stallholders.

Payments & atms

Most stallholders accept either EFTPOS or cash.

There are ATMs located on Murray Street – the main street of Angaston, which is less than a minute’s walk from the Angaston Town Hall.


Public toilets are located in Angaston Town Hall as well as Angas Recreation Park on Washington Street and the Angaston Town Green.

Food and Drink

You will find a variety of food and drink vendors throughout the markets as well as an on-site café and a coffee van.

In addition to what’s available at the market, there are many wonderful cafe’s, restaurants and pubs located in Angaston.
